In the State of Texas, whole-body donation is regulated by the State Anatomical Board (SAB). Life Tree Anatomical is the only non-university based Willed Body Program approved by the SAB.
We have this distinction for many reasons. Our program is run by physicians, nurses, and other end-of-life caretakers. We believe following strict regulations is a must, and we follow all Texas state laws. We only work with approved education organizations who have been vetted out to our highest levels. Our slogan is “Texas First” which means your whole body donation stays in Texas to support our Texas medical education system and training centers until all Texas needs are met. Other commercial whole body programs may send your gift to other countries.
We are dedicated to making the donation experience as meaningful and dignified as possible for the donors and their families. What you can expect from Life Tree Anatomical:
Professional, experienced, and compassionate staff available year-round.
Life Tree Anatomical files all necessary paperwork with the county.
All arrangements will be made in person or electronically.
Zero cost to donate. All transportation, cremation and return of cremations is free.
