As a board-certified anesthesiologist and previous member of the US Army Reserves (‘91-’97), Dr. Ali’s exemplary leadership skills began when he served as chief resident at Duke University Anesthesiology Residency program in 2004.  Since then, Dr. Ali has been actively involved in the care of our community and veterans.  He has closely worked with hospice programs and donor families and helped build the first-ever private, non-university-willed body program recognized and approved by the State of Texas.  He serves as the Chairperson of the State Anatomical Advisory Committee, whose mission is to protect and respect individuals and families who donate loved ones to enrich medical innovation and training.   He resides in Austin, TX, and is dedicated to Texans and their health and well-being.

With degrees in Finance, JD, and MBA, Dennis’ career has been built on consulting, as well as holding board and c-level positions (COO, CFO, CLO) in start-up and early-stage businesses across a variety of industries. Prior to relocating to Austin, Dennis lived and worked in various cities including Scottsdale, Seattle, Dallas, Tokyo, and Paris. Dennis began his career as a corporate partner in a large Dallas law firm, and enjoys golf, woodworking, and reading.
